How do the different departments at RPCS work in harmony to create top-tier project designs?
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the RPCS design team thinks that it is as good a time as any to show appreciation for all the efforts that other departments in our RPCS family do for us. Their frequent collaboration and contributions to our work allow us to work more efficiently and make the best project designs possible. The design team works in harmony with the sales directors, logistics team, installation crew, and many others in order to ensure that the customer will receive the most durable solar tracker on the market.
The sales directors are often on the frontlines when it comes to customer interaction, but because RPCS fosters a healthy communication between sales and design, whenever there are tough design elements involved, we will work together with the customer in order to alleviate any worry on the design front. Sales directors also provide the design team with valuable information directly from the customer to ensure that their needs are met, while maintaining a competitive price point.
The newly expanded logistics team has become increasingly connected to the design elements of projects. The RPCS warehouses are growing by the minute, and with this growth has come new opportunities to design with the future in mind. Whether it be for forecasting/stocking purposes, interpreting Array Technologies’ part number allocations, or coordinating special/custom parts of the tracker, the design and logistics teams collaborate to keep things running smoothly.
The project management and installation teams are one of the best assets that the RPCS design team has on hand. Their hands-on knowledge of the Array tracker is second to none, and their input and abilities allow the design team to consider every angle of the install and find ways to modify the tracker layout to fit the needs of the project while maintaining structural integrity. Smooth and efficient installation has proven to be key in the success of past projects, and so the RPCS design team works hard to make sure that our install crew can do what they do best.
The connectedness of RPCS’s different teams and crews creates an ecosystem that is powered by a diversity of experience and a mastery of each element. Communication and availability between different departments has shown itself to be invaluable when designing projects, so we collaborate often for the best results. RPCS has worked to encompass all the different factors that go into creating a top-notch project and unifying them under the Array Technologies tracker.
